Kilkenny Castle
CreativeCamp is shaping up to be a pretty exciting event. CreativeCamp is one in a series of BarCamp events held throughout Ireland. This is BarCamp with a difference. I’m really looking forward to this one…

These are free conferences/gatherings where entrepreneurs and people working in the technology and internet sectors meet to network and learn from each other. CreativeCamp extends the series by opening up to musicians, artists and all other creatives who want to explore the use of new media to promote their work and communicate their passion.

Tom Corcoran, Keith Bohanna, Ken McGuire and others have done a fantastic job in getting Kilkenny Castle as the Venue for CreativeCamp. It is an amazing setting. I’ve spent many summer days wandering around the grounds or lazing on the grass in front of this beautiful scenic castle. Kilkenny is the ideal location for bringing all of Ireland’s entrepreneurs and artists together.
CreativeCamp is being held on Saturday the 8th of march. I was hoping to just take it easy and soak up the creative atmosphere but someone put me down for a conversation with Bernie Goldblach on “How Friends Communicate“. There will be the usual eclectic set of talks and panels and I’m sure Keith and Co. will have a few surprises up their sleeves.

Looking forward to it already.
